Theory

We started with the theory assignment about Climate connections at the beginning of our summer holiday.

We decided to start early so we could get more knowledge about the subject. We use the Internet a lot to study things about Climate connections, global warming, greenhouse effect, CO2 emission, melting of the ice caps etc.

It has been hard work to pick up knowledge about such a wide scale subject, given that school, homework and sports also has to be taken care of, but we think it has been worth doing it. To inform about the Climate problems, we organised a CO2-booth, “Lose 1 ton”, at the local grocer's. We both wanted to tell people about CO2, but we also wanted to get some proposals to how we can reduce CO2 emission.

Furthermore we have invented a walk-to-school bus in order to avoid that children are driven to school by car. We have made a questionnaire survey in order to find out whether there is an interest for the project. The results are not available yet.
